I am very happy to write the music for a new theater piece by Leili Yahr, a young talented Swiss-American stage director of iranian origin. We will work with a group of iranian immigrants whose personal stories and memories will be contrasted with the ancient Greek play The Persians by Aeschylus. On the stage: 6 singers, 4 musicians and a couple of actors.
I will write a new piece for the famous Swiss string quartet Sine Nomine. I love these musicians so much! I can't wait to start working on it next January!
The second project that I have with the incredible company Comiq'opéra based in Neuchâtel (CH). Le jeu de l'espionne explores the Swiss traditions and old fairy tales and stages them as if they were different levels of a video game. Two singers/actors and a accordionist with a small electronic setup. Imagine what kind of crazy music we can bring to life!
